Psychiatric Evaluation and Treatment
Dr. Blume is an ABPN Board-Certified, University of Pennsylvania trained general psychiatrist based in Philadelphia. He strives to provide his patients with the highest quality psychiatric assessment and treatment. While relying on the best evidence-based treatments wherever possible, he recognizes the importance of tailoring treatment to the needs and preferences of the individual. Dr. Blume has expertise in psychopharmacological and psychotherapeutic treatments for depression, anxiety disorders, autistic spectrum disorders (including Asperger Syndrome), and bipolar disorder. In addition to a passion for general psychiatry, he has a special interest in working with adults who are struggling to achieve their personal and professional goals due to symptoms of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). 
About Dr. Blume
Dr. Blume received an undergraduate degree in Philosophy from the University of Paris-Sorbonne and completed his medical training at Jefferson Medical College. He completed both his Psychiatry residency training and a post-residency fellowship in Clinical Research in Psychiatry at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Following his training, he served as an attending physician for two years at the Penn Adult ADHD Treatment and Research Program. He currently sees patients at his private office in Center City, Philadelphia. He remains active in resident education, serving as Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Dr Blume is the founder of The Adult ADHD Center of Philadelphia.
